about this poster

Wooden coffee grinder on a checkered tablecloth poster

Set on a red checkered tablecloth, a hand-crank wooden coffee grinder with its brass bowl shows off its little half-open drawer filled with ground coffee. A few beans are scattered all around, next to a striped cup steaming on its saucer. This coffee grinder poster makes a warm still life in shades of pink, red and brown. The title “Daily Grind” humorously nods to the ritual of freshly ground coffee every morning.

A coffee still life for the kitchen

In portrait orientation, it fits above a coffee machine, a countertop or a dining room sideboard. Its red checks and brown wood pair well with enamelware, glass jars and oak shelves. It also has its place in a café or a coffee roastery. Pair it with other kitchen or hot drink posters. It will delight anyone who loves hand-ground coffee, and slips nicely into a housewarming gift with a bag of beans.

Your questions

What does “Daily Grind” mean?

In English, “daily grind” is a casual expression for the everyday routine, but “grind” also means to mill or grind. The title plays on this double meaning, with a wooden coffee grinder filled with freshly ground coffee.

Where should I hang this coffee grinder poster?

It naturally belongs in a kitchen, near the coffee machine, or in a dining room. It also suits an office coffee corner or a small coffee roastery.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
