White tennis shoes and balls on clay court poster

Tennis shoes on clay court poster, “GAME SET MATCH”

A pair of white tennis shoes and 3 balls rest on a clay court, right next to the net. A tall umpire’s chair stands by the post, and poplars line the court. At the far end of the court, a man seen from behind, hands clasped behind his back, walks away near the post, as if the match had just ended. The ochre of the clay answers the bright white of the shoes. The title “GAME SET MATCH” announces the end of the contest.

A tennis still life for the entryway or for a player

Its calm composition suits an entryway, an office, a living room, a bedroom or a clubhouse. Its ochres and whites pair well with light wood, terracotta, linen and rattan. It combines nicely with other tennis posters for a cohesive wall. It makes a great gift for a tennis player, a fan of clay court tournaments, an umpire or a friend who is hanging up the racket after years of competition.
