Luxembourg Garden sailboats on the pond poster

Luxembourg Garden poster, the little sailboats on the pond

Children leaning over the large octagonal pond push little sailboats that glide across the water. Around them, green chairs invite a pause, and the Luxembourg Palace rises in the background. This Luxembourg Garden poster, in horizontal format, captures a simple, joyful moment of childhood in the heart of Paris. The drawing follows the style of illustrated travel posters, with tender light and soft colors. The title “JARDIN DU LUXEMBOURG” crowns the scene in full lettering.

A childhood scene for a bedroom or playroom

With its greens, blues and red sails, it fits right in a child’s bedroom, a playroom or a family living room. In landscape format, it sits nicely above a bed, a dresser or a sofa. It pairs well with natural wood, pastel tones, linen and wooden toys. It can join other posters of Paris or of boats. It makes a lovely baby gift, a keepsake for a family who once lived in the neighborhood, or a thoughtful present for Parisian grandparents.
