Housewife hanging white laundry in the garden poster

Laundry on the line poster, “FRESH LINEN”

In a sun-drenched garden, a smiling housewife in a tied apron pins big white sheets to a clothesline. A basket waits at her feet, ready for the rest of the wash. The sheets, billowing in the breeze, fill a good part of the image and play against the bold green of the grass and the bushes in red bloom. The title “FRESH LINEN”, in navy blue letters beneath the scene, sums up its mood: a bright day when the laundry dries outside. This laundry poster radiates cleanliness and good cheer, with vivid light and simple colors.

A cheerful poster for the laundry room or kitchen

Its vertical format slips easily above a washing machine, on the wall of a pantry or next to a laundry room shelf. The white of the sheets and the green of the garden pair well with wicker baskets, wooden clothespins, light tiles or a painted cabinet. In a kitchen, it can join other posters about the home and everyday routines. It makes a smile-inducing gift for a housewarming, for a friend who has just redone her laundry room, or for anyone who loves practical spaces that are beautifully decorated.
