Boat on the Canal du Midi lined with plane trees in Toulouse poster

Toulouse poster, barge on the Canal du Midi

A long, narrow barge glides slowly along the Canal du Midi, near Toulouse. On either side, 2 rows of tall plane trees with pinkish trunks line the water under a clear blue sky, and their reflections lead the eye toward a small stone lock bridge in the background. This vertical poster plays on the symmetry of the trees and the mirror of the water, which doubles every shape. The deep greens of the foliage dominate a calm, summery atmosphere, perfect for a leisurely stroll. The title “TOULOUSE” accompanies this peaceful landscape.

A Canal du Midi poster for the bedroom or living room

Its deep greens and calm mood suit a bedroom, a living room, an office or an entryway. The vertical format and the perspective of the canal add depth to a narrow wall or a hallway. It echoes wood, linen, green plants and sage or khaki tones. Paired with other posters of Occitanie or rivers, it makes up a wall of scenic outings. It will delight a Toulouse local, a fan of cycling along canals, a boater who has rented a barge or anyone who loves the Southwest of France.
