about this poster

New York poster, the Statue of Liberty at sunset

On Liberty Island, the Statue of Liberty raises her torch high in the light of the setting sun. Behind her, the harbor water sparkles, and the silhouette of the Manhattan skyscrapers glows red in the distance. This Statue of Liberty poster, in the spirit of illustrated travel posters, creates a majestic, warm scene with the oranges of the sky, the verdigris of the statue and the golden reflections on the water. The title “NEW YORK” signs the image.

A New York icon for a living room or home office

Warm and inviting, it fits right into a living room, a home office, an entryway or a bedroom. Its oranges and verdigris pair with copper, dark wood, leather and warm tones. Other New York posters can join it for a travel wall. A gift for a lover of the United States, a traveler who took the ferry to Liberty Island, a student heading to New York or an American history enthusiast.
