Golden film reel and red velvet curtain poster

Cinema poster, golden reel and red curtain “SILVER SCREEN”

Standing on its edge, a golden film reel lets a long strip of film unspool. Behind it, spotlights cast their beams against a deep red velvet curtain, as if just before the curtain rises. This vertical poster celebrates the splendor of movie theaters with 3 simple elements: gold, red and light. The composition is centered and theatrical, almost solemn. The title “SILVER SCREEN”, the expression for the big screen, accompanies this image dedicated to the 7th art, as the French call cinema.

A cinema poster for a home theater or living room

Its deep reds and gilding suit a home theater, living room, office or teenager’s bedroom. The vertical format fits nicely next to a screen, a movie shelf or in a hallway. It pairs well with velvet, brass, black and dark wood. Surrounded by other cinema or entertainment posters, it makes a film buff’s gallery wall. A great gift for a film buff, a film student, a projectionist or friends who host movie nights.
