Vintage music: several decades and several moods
Unlike jazz posters, which look to the Parisian clubs of the 1920s to 1940s, music posters mostly cover 1950s rock and roll and the pop of the decades that followed, with highly recognizable objects. The collection also extends to classical music, the gramophone and the psychedelic guitar of the 1970s.
Jukebox and rock and roll, the 1950s spirit
The jukebox remains the object most associated with that era, often surrounded by records and bright colors. These posters set the tone for a festive room, close in spirit to pin-up or laundry room posters from the same years.
In the same spirit
Classical music and Art Deco, the festival and orchestra spirit
The collection also offers a more classical side, in the same Art Deco style as the rest of the catalog: a classical music festival poster, a conductor in full swing, a saxophone or golden trumpet, and a 1940s cabaret singer.
Gramophone, phonograph and vinyl
The gramophone and the phonograph recall the very first listening devices, in a retro Art Deco style. The vinyl record and the turntable return in a more pop art spirit, for a living room or a music corner.
Audio cassettes, a nod to the 1980s
The audio cassette, planted giant on a sunny beach next to a Walkman-style player, works as a nostalgic symbol of the 1980s, appreciated in a bedroom or an office.

Psychedelic guitar, the 1970s scene
The guitar, acoustic or electric, also comes in a psychedelic spirit typical of the 1970s: street musician, tour stage or rock night, for a more colorful look than the jukebox posters.
Concert poster, silhouettes and stage
The concert poster borrows the graphic codes of the show poster: the silhouette of a musician on a colored background rather than a photograph, for a restrained look suited to a living room or an office.
Where to hang them
A living room or an office suits a music poster well. For a teen’s bedroom or a relaxation corner, the A3 size remains the most common.
The microphone, symbol of 1950s radio and stages
2 microphone posters, On the Air and Spirit of Jazz, put this object front and center: a chrome stand in front of a fan of colorful rays, or alone on a club stage in front of the red curtain, a symbol of live radio broadcasts and period stages, distinct from the jukebox already described.
The wooden radio, listening at home
The Stay Tuned poster sets a wooden radio on a sideboard, under a floor lamp, facing a red armchair where you sit to listen, for a wider angle than the instruments alone already described in this article.
The double bass and the rockabilly mood
2 Rockabilly Night posters showcase the double bass, played by a trio on stage among tailfin cars, or in close-up by a musician in a red shirt against a bright blue background, for a retro diner mood distinct from the jukebox and the electric guitar already described.
